As you know from earlier communications, PASLA and RMA have been closely monitoring the novel coronavirus outbreak which continues to spread outside China, through the APAC region, and beyond. On January 30th, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus a PHEIC – a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, signaling concern over the increase in numbers of cases and additional countries reporting confirmed cases.

In light of the WHO’s declaration and with the safety of its members, employees, and sponsors foremost in mind, PASLA and RMA have made the decision to postpone this year’s Conference in order to safeguard our members’, employees’, and sponsors’ health and welfare. This decision removes the risk of exposing Conference attendees to international travel which has already become more restrictive as the virus continues to spread across borders.

We are pleased to announce that the Conference has already been rescheduled for 2-4 March, 2021 at the Conrad Tokyo.  We appreciate our members’ and Conference attendees’ support and understanding during this challenging time.
